My sister told me about this CD and I'm glad she did. It's a great CD on which all of the songs are done very well both technically and musically.

Alan Jackson does a great job singing the old time favorites like Blessed Assurance, How Great Thou Art, The Old Rugged Cross, and Jackson's voice is an absolutely perfect fit to these timeless hymns. You can almost picture him standing in the church pew with his family singing the songs.

This is a "feel good" album done in the deep rich voice of Alan Jackson accompanied by his wife and two daughters and is by far one of Jackson's best offerings.

This CD is simply a wonderful collection of songs for anyone who enjoys Alan Jackson, or Spiritual Hymns in general. Get it. You won't be disappointed.

While this entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 2, Softly And Tenderly, track 4 When We All Get To Heaven, and track 7, Are You Washed In The Blood?

My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1, Blessed Assurance which he sings as though it were written for his voice. Perfect.

Has any one out there purchased or used a Tis amplifier?

I'm a big car audio guy and I seen an 1800 watt Tis amplifier at Wal-mart so I purchased one. Before now I had never heard of the brand of amplifier and I'm very aware of the twenty inches strong company that produces after market wheels and tires but they have no mention of amplifiers anywhere on there website and the website on the box of the amplifier "www.tisaudio.com" apparently doesnt exist. Ive hooked the amp up every way imaginable and sadly, I have a 600 watt power acoustik that hits harder than this thing. So if anyone has used one and has had the same results or maybe even had fantastic results or just knows more about the company, please let me know. Thanks

How are you mate. I went on that site just before and it is just a whole lot of links to other sites where you can buy equally low quality audio gear. I'm going to take a guess and say that the aftermarket wheel company Twenty Inches Strong has absolutely no affiliation with the manufactures of the amplifier. Sometimes companies will "steal" another larger companies name to make their product seem genuine, when it's not. They have simply made the acronym for a larger company their name.

Unfortunately your amplifiers output is a lot less than the stated 1800 watts. I would say around 300wrms would be more on the money. Remember when buying ANY car audio gear watts "peak" or "max" mean absolutely nothing. What you want to look for is the "nominal" rating or wattsRMS. These are the numbers you should be matching your components with. Also finding a CEA compliant amplifier will assure you that the power output is genuine.
