I'm playing my Ipod through my guitar amp, should I buy a mono or Stereo cable. I know what they are but does it really matter if It's one or the other. I'm just a bit worried that i'll only get one audio track if I buy one or the other.

Definitely stereo. Stereo means you get both the left and right side of the panning off the track.

Mono just means you only get the right side off the panning.
