Well here it is again almost the end of another year, the leaves are changing and the temperature is crisp and cold. Hard to believe the weather is already changing. It won't belong before the snow will be falling and once again you will be scraping your windows at 6:00 am wishing you had something to cover your car with. Wouldn't it be nice if all this work of pushing snow off your car and scraping your windows was a thing of the past? Well it could be, all you need to do is get a car, truck, SUV or other vehicle cover, and you may be able to hit that snooze button one more time.
There are a couple different types of covers you could use. First there are the waterproof covers that will keep your car free from rain and snow and ice build-up. The cover material will also allow it to breath so moisture isn't trapped underneath. These types of covers are used all over the US and Canada. They come in two types. First, a three layer cover and secondly a four layer cover. The four layer cover has a lining of fleece that helps protect the finish on your vehicles.
The next cover that is new on the market is the iCover. This cover is a half cover that just covers the top half of your vehicles. This cover is great for all four seasons. It is made of a material that will help stop UV damage and is also waterproof. They are very easy to install, so much so that people use them when they go shopping just to help hide their possessions from would be thief's view and to help keep their vehicles cool when the summer sun is beating down. The other thing that is nice about this cover is that you can use it to keep the snow and ice off your windows during the winter months, a quick shake after removing and you are good to go.
So, as I was saying, don't make your life harder this winter, get yourself a vehicle cover. Better yet, the holidays are just around the corner and a vehicle cover would make a great gift for someone on your gift list. Just search online under car covers, truck covers, SUV covers, and any other vehicle you might have and find a reputable company to buy your covers from, and have a safe, wonderful winter.

Buying A New Car, Truck Or Suv? What Model Is Right For You?
Buying a new vehicle is always a daunting task. There are a thousand considerations to be mindful of: Which model should I buy? What equipment should I pay extra for? What’s my budget?
Budget is a huge consideration. There is a world of difference in payment amounts between a $25,000 Chevy and a $60,000 luxury vehicle. Figure out your monthly budget and stick to it. A well chosen figure can be manageable but one you didn’t stick to can quickly become a burden. Don’t fall into the trap of sales people who push the envelope on you and convince you that the luxury upgrades are worth it if you don’t want to pay for them. Besides, many things that dealers push, the upgrades, you can add cheaper with aftermarket products. Remote start and high end sound systems are examples.
There are a few legitimate ways to stretch your dollars, however. Remember the manufacturer incentives that may be in the form of rebates, discounts and reduced interest rates on your loan. These will help get you into the next level of automobile and still remain within your budget. Also, check to make sure the dealer is offering you the dealer incentives, or at least a portion of them. These are incentives auto makers give the dealers that are not always passed on to you. Always figure there is room for wiggle when looking at the price. And too, comparison shop and let the dealer know you are doing so. This might cause them to sharpen their pencils. Always refrain from falling in love with a particular car. If the dealer picks up on this you may become prey to sales tactics that push you over your budget. Rather, act aloof and remain neutral.
When you get your budget figured out you can then focus in on models that fall within your perimeters. Begin shopping online to get a feel for what’s available in your price range. When you narrow down your best picks do a little more research with places like Consumer Reports. They will explore and explain things you may not have thought about or know such as reliability, long term trade-in value and whether the car cabin is easy to use from the driver’s seat. Then take a few test drives. Besides the obvious things like accessories the car has available, give your test drive an objective view. Does the cabin fit you? Is the seat comfortable, and can you personally reach everything. Also, try backing up the vehicle. Most people don’t do this, but it highlights blind spots you may want to avoid. You want a vehicle to fit you personally.
Does the car fit your needs? It’s almost impossible to get everything in one vehicle. Want a sporty little convertible but you have a zillion kids and live in the north where snow gets six feet deep? It’s likely to be parked six months out of the year and if that is your only vehicle, well, good luck! This may be an over exaggeration but you’d be surprised how many people do not consider the daily use of their vehicle. But if it’s a car fits your needs 80% of the time, then like buying a house, that’s probably the best you can do. There are still no transformers on the market. So what do you need in a vehicle? Sure you might want a huge SUV on occasion when the grandkids or neighbors come over and want to all pile in, but how often does this happen and what about all of the other times, most of the time when it’s just you? In that case maybe something smaller will do the trick and you’ll save on gas. Take the general purpose into consideration before you look at things you’d love to have but can do without.
Buying a vehicle is a matter of personal choice, obviously, or manufacturers wouldn’t offer so many choices. Just make sure the budget and model fit your needs, at least most of the time, and you’ll be more likely to be happy with your selection.

Is there a vehicle (car, suv or truck) that is known for having a trouble free air conditioning system?
I know there is no such thing as perfection but is there one that has a reputation for being the best?
My thought is, you never know. I have put over 150k on Ford, Chevy and Japanese cars. Some worked beyond that without repairs and some did not. Brand does not seem to matter. I do believe that an AC that is used regularly and where road salt is not used (road salt gets inside the rubber insulation of the freon lines causing premature rust and corrosion) will last the longest.
The Little 57-mpg Engine That Could
Fiat says the TwinAir 875cc will be the world’s most fuel-efficient gasoline automobile engine — getting 57.4 mpg — when it appears in the 500 this fall. It meets Euro 5 emission regs and will allow Fiat to retain its position as the European automaker with the lowest overall fleet CO2 emissions.
