1995 Ford Taurus thuds on right side when hitting bumps but shocks are ok I believe.?
I get a spurious thud on the right side of a 1995 Taurus SHO 4 door 3.? liter. I push down on the trunk and do not get excess bouncing, so shocks appear o.k.
Is there anything about FWD cars, that could cause this spurious noise? Where can I find all the outstanding TSB's for this model?

sounds like there is a bushing or bearing that is worn out. if you are not mechanically inclinded take it to a mechanic and have them show you what is making the nosie and how much to fix it, as it will not get better on it's own. sounds like the shocks are just fine but something is worn out and you need to get under and look and get it sorted. might be something simple but don't leave it to become something bad

Why a sedan instead of a crossover? Why not? Does everyone who needs or wants more room than in a mid-size sedan need a wagon? "Full-size sedan" does bring to mind a certain demographic group, and not the "young, active-lifestyle" people that are the darlings of automotive marketing.
