car audio choices for an accord?
Ok i am looking at some subs and speakers for my cars, but i need a good amount of help to do this right. im looking at the
Pyramid BNPS102 10-Inch 1000-Watt Dual Bandpass System with Neon Accent Lighting
Visonik VPN108 600 Watt 2 Way Sub Enclosure Car Speaker System w/Neon
Pyramid BNPS122 12-Inch 1200-Watt Dual Bandpass System with Neon Accent Lighting
Power Acoustik NB-2 200-Watt 3-Way Tweeters
Pyramid TW44 1-Inch Tweeter
ok i know its a lot of things, but i do have some questions.
i plan to put the tweeters behind my headrests and the subs in my trunk. what kind of amp do i need to get? do i need more than one? are these good speakers that i am choosing? if you can send me the names of amps that would be good for these choices, thank you veeeeryy much for your help.
awesome, im glad i asked. would a Jensen Power 760760W 4-Channel Power Series work for those pioneer speakers?
Don't get subwoofers just because they're in a bandpass enclosure with neon lighting, please. Pyramid and Visonik are trashy flea market junk that they wouldn't even sell at Wal-Mart. I'd suggest Pioneer for beginner level stuff at the very least. I know some people that are very satisfied with their Pioneer equipment. The next step up I'd recommend Alpine or Rockford Fosgate. Then, there's the high end stuff like RE Audio and Fi Audio.
If you need some cheap stuff I'd suggest getting two Pioneer TS W302R woofers (about $47 a piece) in a Ground Shaker SQ212 enclosure ($75 on onlinecarstereo.com) along with a Kicker ZX300.1 amplifier ($119 on techronics.com) you'll have a very nice entry level system that'll blow away anything those trashy Pyramid or Visonik things would put out!
